Design lyric is a Redmond based firm in the state of Washington, US. Started in 2005 and offering services in architecture, interior design, Landscape and sustainability planning. Since then the firm has consciously nurtured team of artist-designers, who share the passion of exploring the relationship in between nature and built spaces with an emphasis on detailing and execution to ensure envisioned reality is achieved.
We prioritize delivering unparalleled client services, characterized by transparent and constant communication, proactive anticipation of client needs, and efficient collaboration. We genuinely embrace client’s feedback at every project stage, ensuring their satisfaction. Our firm excels in customizing our approach to suit each client unique requirements. Site-specificity serves as our fundamental principle. We specialize in crafting distinctive, site-rooted buildings, meticulously evaluating each location through quantitative and qualitative assessments. SANJEEV SHARMA
Sanjeev Sharma is an architectural designer whose work is shaped by a belief that true luxury is found in restraint, clarity, and quiet confidence. His approach to high-end residential design prioritizes timeless architecture over passing trends, creating homes that feel deeply personal, enduring, and effortlessly refined. Each project is conceived as a private sanctuary—thoughtfully composed, carefully detailed, and designed to age gracefully over time.
Originally from India, Sanjeev began his architectural journey there before coming to the United States in the 1990s to pursue his Master’s degree in Architecture. He brings with him a nuanced understanding of culture, craftsmanship, and spatial storytelling—sensibilities that continue to inform his residential work, where materials, light, and proportion are treated with deliberate care.
His early years with design firms in Kansas established a rigorous foundation in architectural discipline and constructability. This foundation was further elevated during his more than decade-long tenure at CallisonRTKL, one of the world’s most respected architectural firms, where he worked on sophisticated, large-scale projects across global markets. These experiences refined his ability to balance vision with execution—an essential skill in delivering bespoke, high-end homes.
Today, practicing independently, Sanjeev focuses on luxury residential projects across Washington State, California, Texas, the UAE, India, and Sri Lanka, alongside select multifamily, healthcare, and commercial work. His residential designs are characterized by a calm elegance—spaces that feel curated yet livable, refined yet warm, where every detail serves a purpose.
His design process is highly collaborative and deeply personal. Ideas are carefully explored, edited, and distilled until they feel inevitable rather than excessive. From the earliest concept through construction, Sanjeev remains closely involved, guiding each decision with precision and intent—from spatial flow and material selection to the finest architectural details.
With a rare combination of architectural depth and real-estate insight, Sanjeev offers clients not just beautiful homes, but informed, enduring investments. He views every residence as a reflection of its owners—crafted through trust, dialogue, and an uncompromising commitment to quality—resulting in homes that feel both luxurious and profoundly lived-in.

NIRUPAMA SHARMA
Co Founder and Architect Nirupama Sharma brings her deep architectural and construction expertise to bear on each of our projects. Personable, perceptive, and always bringing new perspectives to light, Nirupama applies her discerning eye and passion for all forms of design to our client process. She expresses her sensitivity to space and people in the structures she creates, each project telling a story through architecture.
Nirupama holds over 25 years of experience and has two Masters degrees one in architecture and the other in Management working in all phases of design and a broad range of projects types and scales. A licensed architect, she also has extensive architecture, planning and interior design experience, and her dual strengths in design and project management make her an ideal fit as the Design Director, where she is responsible for leading design projects, developing and overseeing schedules, budgets, and quality control. Nirupama enjoys working closely with clients on all aspects of the design process, seeking creative solutions to problems within a complex web of code requirements.
